What we collect and why
When you send an enquiry or request a callback through this site, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number (if given), the type of enquiry and your message. We use these solely to respond to your enquiry and, where you go on to become a client, to begin providing our advice service.
Our lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries made to us and, where applicable, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not use your enquiry details for marketing, and we do not sell or share them for advertising.
Please don't include health or medical information in website messages. Where protection advice later requires health-related details, we will collect them properly, with your explicit consent, through the appropriate application process rather than via this website.
Who processes your data
Two service providers process enquiry data on our behalf:
- Web3Forms, the service that transmits your form submission to our inbox.
- Seonat Ltd, the agency that built and maintains this website. Form notifications are delivered to a monitored mailbox it operates so that no enquiry is missed.
This website is hosted by Vercel. We set no analytics or advertising cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
If you go on to become a client, our full client privacy notice (provided with our Terms of Business) applies to the advice relationship. It includes sharing your information with our network principal, Julian Harris Adviser Network Limited, and with the providers of any products we arrange for you.
How long we keep it
Enquiry messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and then for a reasonable period afterwards (no more than 12 months) in case you return to us. If you become a client, records are retained in line with our regulatory record-keeping obligations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. To exercise any of them, email rafebaker@lifestylechoicesltd.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We'll update this policy when our practices change, and note the date of the latest revision here. This version was prepared at the launch of this website.
